Barmouth is a seaside town in the county of Gwynedd, Wales, located on the estuary of the River Mawddach and Cardigan Bay.
The town grew up around shipbuilding but now reknowned as a seaside resort with a fine sea view, 2 miles of sandy beach and the Cader Idris peak behind it.
Barmouth hosts an annual motorcross event, usually the last weekend of October with the course constructed on the beach.
The harbour also hosts the annual Three Peaks yacht race held each year in June.
