The preserved postwar steam record speed holder LNER Class A4 Pacific No. 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley is owned by the Sir Nigel Gresley Locomotive Trust. It was built at the Doncaster Works in 1937 to a design of Sir Nigel Gresley for operation on the LNER railway. Following a massive multi-year overhaul at vast expense, the locomotive has been returned to operate on the main line. It is currently operates on heritage railways and main line railtours.

It was released to traffic on 30 October 1937.The locomotive was withdrawn from service in 1966 and purchased for preservation the same year; it is one of six A4s that have been preserved.
